Family Sues Government After Woman Shot by Immigration Officer

Becca Good and Brent Ganger are suing the United States under the Federal Tort Claims Act, a law letting citizens sue the government, over the Jan. 7 death of Renee Good, 37, shot by an ICE immigration officer in Minneapolis. They allege harmful force, threats, wrongful detention and carelessness during Operation Metro Surge, an immigration enforcement sweep.
