Hollywood, Florida Hotels Expect Fewer Canadian Snowbirds Again

Hollywood, Florida hotel owners say Canadian snowbird bookings are down for a second winter. Jay Gandhi, owner of Curtis Inn & Suites, said he hosted 60 to 70 Canadians before, 50 last year and expects about 30 this winter. Richard Clavet said the trade war caused cancellations. NPR reported a weak dollar and border rules also played a part.
