Tiffany to fund four-year conservation of Schlumberger archive in Paris

Tiffany & Co. will fund a four-year restoration of Jean Schlumberger's archive at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, The Art Newspaper reported on 2 October. The holding exceeds 10,000 items, including more than 5,000 designs, sketches and gouaches, opaque watercolour studies, plus 5,000 personal documents, the paper said. Work includes inventory, restoration and digitisation.
