Florida Hotels Expect Fewer Canadian Winter Visitors Again

Hollywood, Florida hotels say bookings by Canadians wintering in Florida are down a second winter. Jay Gandhi, Curtis Inn & Suites owner, said he had 60 to 70 Canadians before, 50 last year and expects about 30 this winter. Richard Clavet said the trade tax fight caused cancellations. NPR reported weaker money and border crossing rules also played a part.
