Conservative MP Scott Aitchison to step down in Ontario by year-end

Conservative housing spokesperson Scott Aitchison will step down as the elected member for Parry Sound–Muskoka, Ontario, by year-end, sources told The Globe and Mail. He told leader Pierre Poilievre last week. In politics since 1994 and a member of Parliament since 2019, he ran to lead the party in 2022.
