Conservative MP Scott Aitchison to resign Parry Sound-Muskoka seat by year-end

Conservative housing critic Scott Aitchison will resign his Ontario seat of Parry Sound–Muskoka by the end of the year, sources told The Globe and Mail. He informed leader Pierre Poilievre last week. Aitchison, in politics since 1994 and MP since 2019, sought the party leadership in 2022.
