Burnham announces public Great British Grid plan

Prime Minister Andy Burnham has announced a publicly owned Great British Grid, part of Great British Energy. The BBC reported the announcement. Reuters said he set it out in his Labour conference speech. The Guardian said it would work with private firms to cut costs, speed grid connections and boost competition.
