Australian Vanishes in Cambodia, Held in Vietnam

Vietnam has held three activists, including Tran Hiep, 50, an Australian living in Melbourne. Hiep and Nguyen Duc Thuan, traveling on a Norwegian passport, vanished in Cambodia on 18 September on a trip to Kaoh Andaet. Hiep had gone to the capital, Phnom Penh, to meet defenders of basic rights, and had not contacted his wife since 18 September.
