Volkswagen to Swap ID.4 Crossover for Upcoming ID.Tiguan

Volkswagen said Sept. 28 it will replace its ID.4 crossover — a small SUV-style vehicle — with the upcoming ID.Tiguan. The ID.4 launched in 2020 and sold 950,000 units since 2021. Production in Chattanooga ends in April 2026. The ID.Tiguan will sit alongside the ID.Polo and ID.Cross in VW's electric range.
