Path of Exile co-founder wants Diablo 5 to succeed for genre's sake

Path of Exile co-founder Chris Wilson said "I desperately want Diablo 5 to be a good game" in a video on his personal YouTube channel. The former Grinding Gear Games lead designer said he is tentatively hopeful for Blizzard's sequel for the sake of the action RPG genre, arguing fans are "content starved" and a hit would bring new players.
