NZ First would scrap Waitangi Tribunal in first 100 days

New Zealand First says it would abolish the Waitangi Tribunal within the first 100 days of a new government and bring in replacement law. The party announced the policy on 26 September, RNZ reported. The Tribunal is a standing inquiry that advises on Māori claims about laws, policies and actions.
