DR Congo Bundibugyo Ebola Spreads to Two New Border Zones, WHO Says

DR Congo's Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak has reached Bulu, near the Central African Republic, and Dungu, near South Sudan, the WHO said Sept. 25. Affected zones total 63 across seven provinces. As of Sept. 23, WHO counted 7,890 confirmed cases and 3,799 deaths, with Ituri as the epicentre, or main hotspot. Border spread makes tracking cases and coordinating with neighbors harder.
