DR Congo Ebola outbreak spreads to two new border zones, WHO says

WHO said Sept. 25 that DR Congo's Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak reached Bulu near the Central African Republic and Dungu near South Sudan, raising affected zones to 63 across seven provinces. As of Sept. 23, WHO reported 7,890 confirmed cases and 3,799 deaths, with Ituri as epicentre. Border spread complicates surveillance and cross-border coordination.
