Michigan Credit Union CEO Departs After 'Lake America' Photo Backlash

Jane Smith is no longer CEO, the chief executive, of Family First Credit Union in Saginaw, Michigan, effective immediately. The credit union apologized for concern, disappointment and pain after Smith's Sept. 11 Facebook photo, apparently AI-edited to show 'Lake America' sweaters at Detroit airport en route to Halifax, went viral and drew backlash before deletion.
