UNICEF: 71,000 Children Forced From Homes in Yemen in Three Weeks

Nearly 130,000 people, including 71,000 children, were forced from their homes in Yemen in the past three weeks, UNICEF said Sept. 25. Most fled from or inside Taiz governorate in the southwest — governorate means a large administrative region. The surge will stretch shelter and aid where over 12 million children already need help.
