Marcos Pardons Veloso, Ending Philippines Case

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. granted Mary Jane Veloso an absolute pardon, full legal forgiveness, on September 25, 2026. Veloso spent nearly 15 years on Indonesia's death row before returning to the Philippines in December 2024.
