Report: Ubisoft Milan built cancelled Zelda prototype starring Ganondorf

Ubisoft Milan built a playable prototype for a cancelled Legend of Zelda spin-off codenamed Goliath starring Ganondorf, according to an Insider Gaming report published 24 September 2026. The report says the project first centred on a new protagonist before switching to the series villain, and that Nintendo rejected the prototype in late November 2023 for unclear reasons.
