Judge withholds approval of $110bn Paramount-WBD settlement

U.S. District Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín has not approved the proposed settlement between Paramount and 12 state attorneys general over the $110 billion Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery merger, Variety reported after a Sept. 24 virtual hearing. She set no ruling date, saying it would come in "due course," and asked whether talks were arm's-length.
