Outlets Say White House Defied Order on Press Badges

Lawyers for CNN, MS Now and Politico told U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly Thursday morning that the White House had already repeatedly violated his overnight order to restore their press badges. Reporters were turned away at the gate, with Secret Service taking remaining hard passes — long-term credentials. Kelly gave the administration until 12:30 p.m. to answer.
