News outlets say White House defied order restoring press access

Lawyers for CNN, MS Now and Politico told U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly on Thursday morning the White House had already "repeatedly violated" his overnight order restoring their press badges. Journalists from each outlet were turned away at the gate, with Secret Service confiscating remaining hard passes. Kelly gave the administration until 12:30 p.m. to respond.
