US Jockey Club orders Austrian Painter renamed over Hitler reference

The US Jockey Club ordered two-year-old Austrian Painter to race as Merrylegs after ruling the name referred to Adolf Hitler. The registrar said the term is used online to evade moderation filters and breached rules on offensive names. The order followed a complaint and the colt's debut win at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
