Giants Acquire J.J. McCarthy From Vikings Pending Physical

Minnesota announced Monday a trade sending quarterback J.J. McCarthy to the New York Giants for a 2027 fifth-round pick, pending a physical. McCarthy, 23, was the 10th pick in 2024 but lost the starting job to Kyler Murray. Jameis Winston starts Sunday against Arizona with Jaxson Dart out after left-knee surgery.
