UMG appoints Òscar Celma as senior vice-president for applied AI

Universal Music Group announced on 28 September from Santa Monica that Òscar Celma joins as senior vice-president, applied AI and machine learning, effective immediately. The role is a first-of-its-kind position at the company. UMG said he will report to chief data officer Hannah Poferl and lead AI use across its labels and businesses. Celma joins from Condé Nast.
