Judge Orders White House to Restore Press Passes for Three Outlets

U.S. District Judge Timothy J. Kelly ordered the Trump administration to immediately restore White House press passes for CNN, Politico and MS Now. He said the Sept. 18 ban was likely unconstitutional and granted a 14-day temporary restraining order — a short-term order pausing the ban — while their First Amendment free-press lawsuit continues. It does not end the case.
