NZ puts $23.7m into US military satellite WGS-12

New Zealand will put $23.7m over two years into WGS-12, a US-built military communications satellite, RNZ reported. The satellite is due to launch in 2028 at the earliest. NZ is one of 10 partners in the Pentagon network, costing more than $500m. The Defence Force says the funding secures the communications capacity it needs.
