Jake Kolodjashnij medically retires after 209 games for Geelong

Geelong defender Jake Kolodjashnij has medically retired with concussion, the Cats confirmed on 29 September. The 31-year-old played 11 games in 2026 for 209 across 13 seasons. He stood opposition forwards in key defence and played in the 2022 premiership. Twin brother Kade also retired with concussion.
