Former ABC broadcaster Throsby hospitalised after Bulli e-bike crash

Margaret Throsby, 84, former ABC broadcaster, is recovering in hospital after two teenagers on an electric fat bike, a wide-tyre e-bike, struck her on a shared path on Sandon Drive, Bulli, last week. She broke her hip and had surgery the next day, plus thumb and head injuries. Police say the 16-year-old rider stayed to help; inquiries continue.
