Apple Tests Screenless Fitness Band to Challenge Whoop

Apple is developing a screenless fitness band to rival Whoop, Bloomberg reported September 22, 2026. The design is a thin fabric strap with a small sensor-filled computing unit. The effort is still an early-stage research project, with several prototypes under test. Even if Apple moves forward, launch would not happen before 2028.
