Burbank Theater Arrest After Pepper-Spraying Over Phone Use

Burbank police arrested Matthew Ware, 34, on 15 September for allegedly pepper-spraying a patron at AMC Burbank 16 for using a phone. Ware faces misdemeanor battery, a lower-level charge for unlawful contact. Two nearby viewers were also affected. All three went to hospital. The case shows phone disputes can turn criminal.
