Paramount targets two-week close for $111bn Warner Bros. Discovery takeover

Paramount tentatively plans to close its $111 billion Warner Bros. Discovery takeover in about two weeks, chief executive David Ellison told staff, according to Deadline. He said Paramount has complete clearance after settling suits from twelve state attorneys general and the Writers Guild of America. Ellison cautioned there is still work ahead to get the deal across the finish line.
