Double Fine launches publishing label, reveals first game since leaving Xbox

Double Fine unveiled Double Fine Action Labs, a new publishing label, with comedy bus-driving sim "Thank You Bus Driver" as its debut title. The studio split from Xbox Game Studios in July 2026 after a restructuring cutting roughly 3,200 roles; Double Fine lost about a quarter of its 90 staff. The game is listed "coming soon" on Steam and GOG.
