Antonelli wins Italian Grand Prix from back of the grid at Monza

Kimi Antonelli won the 2026 Italian Grand Prix at Monza after starting last following an engine-part penalty. The 18-year-old Mercedes driver climbed to 12th by lap three, pitted under a virtual safety car for fresh tyres, and passed team-mate George Russell between Lesmo and Ascari with three laps left. The victory is his sixth of the season and extends his championship lead to 59 points.
