Suninen seals 2026 European Rally Championship title with one round to spare

Teemu Suninen clinched the 2026 FIA European Rally Championship title at Rali Ceredigion in west Wales, finishing second behind Kris Meeke to wrap up the continental series — one tier below the World Rally Championship — with one round remaining. Suninen arrived holding a 25-point lead over Andrea Mabellini and did enough despite spinning during the event.
