Zarrar Kahn Returns to TIFF Short Cuts with "The Lion Does Not Concern Himself"

Zarrar Kahn's romantic comedy "The Lion Does Not Concern Himself" will world-premiere at TIFF 2026 in Short Cuts Program 03 this September in Toronto. A trailer debuted on TIFF's YouTube channel on 6 August. Kahn directed, co-wrote and co-edited the film; Lauren Saarimaki of POV Film produces, Mina Husain of Suno Studios executive produces. CityLights Media handles world sales. Kahn's debut "In Flames" premiered at Cannes.
