Ford Cars Will Come With Apple Maps Built In — No iPhone Needed

Ford will build Apple Maps directly into its new electric vehicles' navigation screens, so drivers won't need an iPhone connected to use them. The first model, a $30,000 electric pickup, arrives in 2027. Apple's CarPlay system still works too. This is the first time Apple has let a carmaker use its maps as a built-in feature.
