About 100 Protesters Enter Microsoft Construction Site in Amsterdam

About 100 people entered a Microsoft construction site in Amsterdam on Friday morning. Some climbed a crane to hang a banner with a rude message about AI. Others unfurled a "Microsoft powers genocide" banner. Climate group Geef Tegengas helped organize the protest against three 85-meter (280-foot) data centers, huge buildings full of computers. Microsoft will be the only renter.
