Apple plans to check shared iCloud files for harmful content
Apple plans to check files in iCloud that anyone with a link can open, looking for harmful content. Checks start with iPhone update 27.3 and related updates due in December. Those files would no longer be locked so only senders and recipients can read them, making them accessible to Apple. Apple may also remove content and block or disable accounts.
