Hackers Steal $6.3 Billion From Binance, Record Crypto Theft

Hackers stole $6.3 billion from Binance, the world's biggest digital money exchange. Reuters calls it a record theft. Binance reported the incident October 29. Tether and Circle moved to freeze $2.38 billion in tokens, digital coins that cannot be moved. A freeze stops transfers; it does not return money to Binance. Whether money comes back is not yet known.
