OpenAI Lets Some US Paying Users Text Its Dot Helper

US Pro subscribers can now text OpenAI's Dot, an AI helper, in preview. On iPhone it works through iMessage, on Android through RCS, the modern texting standard. Users can send texts, photos and voice memos, and Dot can message them first with updates on assigned tasks. Setup happens through Dot's profile in ChatGPT, and partner Linq powers messaging.
