Publishers Move to Remove Unofficial Browser Versions of Halo, Vice City and Black Ops

Unofficial browser versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Vice City and Black Ops were apparently taken apart and rebuilt with AI help, Heise reported October 13. Publishers are having them removed. According to 80.lv's October 5 report, the Halo version reportedly includes working split-screen and multiplayer. Rebuilding games this way lets them run on hardware they were never made for.
