Furbank leaves Northampton after ten years, joins Harlequins

England fullback, the deepest back in the team, George Furbank, 30, has left Northampton Saints after ten years. Reigning champions Northampton did not offer him a longer contract, while Harlequins did. His Harlequins debut ended in a 48-0 loss to Gloucester. Later, he set up a Marcus Smith try in a 28-24 defeat to Sale.
