Andy Burnham picks Lowry's Lancashire Fair for 10 Downing Street

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has chosen L.S. Lowry's Lancashire Fair, Good Friday, Daisy Nook for display at 10 Downing Street, The Art Newspaper reported. The Government Art Collection owns the 1946 work, to be shown in the MK Gallery's Lowry retrospective in Milton Keynes. Burnham has asked for its return to No. 10 after the show closes in February 2027.
