Subaru to End Gas-Powered Car Sales in Europe by 2027

Subaru plans to stop selling gas-powered cars in Europe by 2027, the company confirmed to Auto Motor und sport. Its Outback will be discontinued at the end of 2026. From 2028, Subaru will sell only electric cars there, three models: Solterra, E-Outback and Uncharted. It cites EU limits on average carbon dioxide from its cars and mandatory safety systems.
