Subaru to Drop Gasoline Cars in Europe by 2027

Subaru plans to stop selling gasoline-powered cars in Europe by 2027, the automaker confirmed to Auto Motor und sport. The Outback will be discontinued at the end of 2026. From 2028, its EU lineup will be three battery EVs: Solterra, E-Outback and Uncharted. Subaru cites EU fleet CO2 limits and mandatory safety systems.
