Subnautica 2 begins 'voyage to Early Access 2.0' with new region

Unknown Worlds has started its 'voyage to Early Access 2.0' for Subnautica 2, creative director Anthony Gallegos said in a Subnautica YouTube video. The update adds a region the studio calls the scariest it has ever made, with several biomes, Leviathan changes and story additions. No release date for Early Access 2.0 has been announced.
