Stratford International set to receive funding for international trains in next week's budget

Stratford International station in east London is set to receive funding in next week's budget to enable international trains, according to reports cited by The Guardian. So far it has served only domestic routes to Kent. Opening the station and its closed-off international section is estimated to cost £20m. Sadiq Khan has lobbied ministers for the money.
