China and North Korea to Open Shared Bridge Oct. 15

China and North Korea will open their New Yalu River Bridge to cars and trucks Oct. 15, China's Xinhua news agency reported Oct. 14. China finished its half in 2014, but nothing had crossed as of March 2026. The opening comes after Chinese leader Xi Jinping visited Pyongyang, North Korea's capital, in June, his first such trip since 2019.
