ACT promises tax change for landlords

ACT has promised to change tax rules for landlords, RNZ reported. If a rental costs more than it earns, that loss can now only cut tax on rental income. Leader David Seymour said letting landlords use it against other income the same year would make owning rentals, including new homes, more worthwhile.
