Mogan denies racist abuse of Semenyo as trial opens

Mark Mogan, 47, denies racially aggravated behaviour over alleged abuse of Antoine Semenyo. Prosecutors say Semenyo froze after hearing the insult while taking a throw-in for Bournemouth at Anfield on 15 August 2025. He reported it to referee Anthony Taylor. The trial at Liverpool Magistrates' Court continues.
