Alberta to vote on whether to consider leaving Canada

CityNews Calgary reported people in Alberta will vote on 19 October on whether to hold a later vote to decide on leaving Canada. Alberta's government said leader Danielle Smith set the question on 21 May. Reuters reported the October vote is advisory only. The CBC reported Smith said she will not ask again if voters choose to stay.
